Due to this improvement, please accept our apologies for any inconvenience it may cause to your camping stay. Improvements are scheduled to be occurring September 24th, 2009 - December 31st, 2009. One Flush Restroom Facility will still be available for use through construction period for both men and women. Portable Toilets will also be brought in to accommodate campers.

Plaskett Creek Campground will remain open and operating during this time period.
 

Plaskett Creek Campground offers family campsites in a country park-like setting under a scattered canopy of large Monterey Pines and Monterey Cypress.
 

The campground is 100' above sea level 3.5 miles north of the town of Gorda.

The Pacific Ocean is just across Highway 1 and easily accessed through Sand Dollar Beach walking trail.
